Incest Rape, A Devastating impact due to Slavery on the  Americans Families

Some of us appear to be stable, note I said "appear". Our state is that of a sin sick people. Not all mind you. Slavery didn't just damage African Americans, it's horrible affects has poisoned  the whole of mankind. For the moment, I'll address one of the toiling affects it has taken on the slave descendants, the African American population.

Women, thus families are experiencing a disease that's almost impossible to overcome, I'm speaking of incest rape. It has happen and is still happening on a large scale in America. Most families are quiet about it, that's probably where the cliche "skeleton in the closet comes from". The affects are devastating not just to the victim, but the children that are born from the victims and the victimizers. They all suffer from this infection of incest rape. More than likely, the victimizers were once victims themselves. It's a vicious cycle that has plagued America. It's not just a disease plaguing African Americans. It's a sickness in every race.

The effects of child incest are devastating and profound. Most victims of child incest suffer from guilt, shame and post traumatic stress disorders which can trigger thoughts and feelings that transport the victim back to the abuse even later on in life. Not only are they at risk for post traumatic stress disorder but add to the list anxiety, depression and phobias.  They go through a period of anger and rage, feelings of betrayal towards parents, even GOD. They witness flashbacks, and some commit suicide. They sometimes believe they are crazybecause the know inside, something is terribly wrong. They're not living a normal life. All these after affects come in stages. Some women have been raped so often that they have forgotten until something jar their memory.

The victimizers experience shame, guilt and fear of being exposed even after changing their lives, the effects last a lifetime. Yes, some change their ways and yes thank GOD, victims does heal, but not without striving for healing. Healing comes in stages. First we must understand we are not to blame for what happened to us, thus for our lives being the way it is today. We must study African American History (the affects of slavery). We must face the ordeal that happened to us and understand the affects afterwards. We must accept what has happened, knowing that our development had been grossly affected, yet it's never too late to blossom, in fact, we must come to the conclusion that we are blossoming and all we've encountered has helped us to evolve. It will very difficult to do this without the understanding the purpose of life. We must find our GOD (strive to understand our CREATOR) and I promise you, HE will help you understand HIM. Find and strive to understand the purpose of life and the role we play as a whole and as individuals. Only then did I gain the key to peace, and the key to peace is..........................forgiveness. Yes, beloved, it's forgiveness. Once you forgive, you will live!!! Will your life be perfect, come on!!! of course not. We were created for toil and struggle, but with hardship, comes ease, again, with hardship comes ease. Now go on and strive!!! I Wish you the highest of success and the highest of peace.
